GETTING THE MOST OUT OF PAY & DISPLAY
This article describes the maintenance and performance of multi-space pay-and-display parking terminals. It outlines how many spaces a terminal should cover (as necessitated by on street or parking lot layouts), the importance of a centralized network to maintain each terminal, terminal power supply (typically solar), and why it is important to keep the outside of the terminals clean. The article also emphasizes the need to keep high quality card stock in the machines and to clean the internal components monthly in order to maintain quality service and reduce maintenance calls.
