Monitoring System Gives Early Warning of Problems

POSS is a remote monitoring system that was developed by Strukton Railinfra in the Netherlands, from a system to monitor points into a system for different rail infrastructure elements. POSS promises to provide early warning of problems with operationally critical assets. The simple design of POSS, its universal applicability, and its easy access are becoming important to many rail infrastructure managers and maintenance companies. The remote monitoring of the system does not require complicated solutions or high investments, and it is independent of the supplier of the components to be monitored. The Internet based access of the system and its extensive analysis tools add significantly to its potential.
