Autogenous Relative Humidity Change and Autogenous Shrinkage of High-Performance Cement Pastes
The experimental program reported in this paper studied the effects of autogenous relative humidity (RH) and autogenous shrinkage (AS) of high performance cement paste in concrete. Also studied were effects of cementitious material ratio (w/cm), mineral admixtures, such as silica fume, ground blast furnace slag, etc. on autogenous RH change and AS of cement pastes.Based on the above, their relationship was discussed and established. In addition, the mechanism in which mineral admixture and w/cm affect self desiccation effect of high performance paste system under different conditions was discussed in detail.
