Use of Different Limestone and Chalk Powders in Self-Compacting Concrete
This paper examines the use of different types and finenesses of limestone and chalk powders as fillers in self compacting concrete (SCC) and investigates their effects on superplasticizer demand and the concrete mix strength characteristics. The work carried out in this study demonstrated that the different limestone and chalk powders could be used for producing SCC mixes, although modest adjustments of superplasticizer dosage were necessary.
