Properties of High Performance Materials Based on Calcium Sulfoaluminate Cement
This research concludes that a wide range of innovative building materials can be developed using sulfoaluminate cement, high early strength concrete, self leveling topping mortars and high performance glass fiber reinforced composites. The above materials are based on three main properties exhibited by calcium sulfoaluminate cement: rapid formation of etteringite, expansive property of etteringite, and low alkalinity of the pore solution of the cementitious matrix. Other materials under development include: self levelling screed with limited curling, fire resistant materials, and materials including large amounts of industrials by-products.
