Numerical Simulation of Surface Properties
The paper presents a numerical simulation model Ribbon that bridges the gap between the micro and meso levels of modeling and emphasizes the potential of numerical simulation models as regards the prediction of surface properties of composite materials. The results demonstrated the potential of the Ribbon model on predicting structure's surface permeability and its effects on the development of the physical and material parameters. The paper ends with an outlook and conclusions on the applicability of multi-scale models in general and micro-level models in particular, while focusing on the durability of the material quality.
