LOADING CYCLE FOR DIESEL POWERED UNDERGROUND VEHICLES REGARDING EMISSION CONTROL. VOLUME 2: THE USE OF ROCK LOADING EQUIPMENT

The aim of this project is to form a basis for the manufacture and choice of diesel engines with emission control for underground mining and construction. This will be made by establishing a representative loading cycle for emission tests. In this test cycle laboratory measurements of exhaust emissions will be carried out and eligible emission levels will be specified. The cycle will comprise transient processes and is trying to equal rock loading equipment. This report is an inventory of the use of rock loading equipment in Swedish mines. A working cycle corresponding to loading during subslicing is recommended for future use. The cycle period was calculated to 2,30 min/working cycle. This working cycle is suggested for the recording of the motor loading. /TRRL/
