The Influence of BMW Group Energy Strategy Communication on Corporate Image

The BMW Group has an energy strategy that is used, in part, to build and associate the BMW corporate image as committed to sustainable mobility. The sustainable mobility principle reduces fossil fuels consumption and cuts down environmental pollution. The authors focus on alternative fuel projects of the BMW Group and also take a closer look at the BMW corporate image in Croatia. To ensure sufficient supply of energy to meet future needs, the BMW’s chosen priorities worldwide are to promote efficient use of today’s available energy sources and to develop innovative solutions for the future. The authors conducted a survey and report on their results. Based on the survey results, the activities in question still do not play a large role in building a good BMW corporate image among BMW customers in Croatia. The authors conclude that there is great possibility for the BMW Group to build its corporate image in Croatia and other similar markets, with the application of intensive environmental care and more communication about the BMW energy strategy.
