Estimation of Value of Travel Time Reliability
This paper expresses travel time reliability in terms of standard deviation and maximum delay that are measured based on triangular distribution.Bangkok, Thailand was selected for the study because the Chao Phraya River runs through the center of the city providing different types of water transportation. The policy sensitivity to enhance the use of water transportation mode was analyzed, and the suggested suitable policy in terms of demand elasticity is concluded as follows: decreasing travel time of boat; decreasing travel cost of boat; and decreasing maximum delay of boat.
