LOGISTICS CAPABILITY AND PERFORMANCE IN TAIWAN'S MAJOR MANUFACTURING FIRMS
This study examines the relationships between performance and logistics capabilities in Taiwan's manufacturing industry. Data from a survey of 1,200 manufacturing firms in Taiwan is examined using structural equation modeling. The results show that the information-based capability is the most critical logistic capability since it can impact upon benchmarking capability, flexibility capability and logistics performance. Information-based capability also indirectly impacts on financial performance through better logistics performance.
