AUTOMOTIVE FUEL ECONOMY CONTRACTORS' COORDINATION MEETING - SUMMARY REPORT OF CONFERENCE HELD IN WASHINGTON, D.C. ON APRIL 24-26, 1978

A comprehensive Research and Analysis program is underway to support the fuel economy rulemaking activities. The objectives of this support program are to develop, maintain, and update: (1) the data bases (statistical, technological, engineering, manufacturing, cost, financial, economic, marketing, and other national impacts); and (2) the analytical tools (framework, methodologies, and specific approaches) necessary to evaluate rulemaking and policy formulation activities in the area of automotive energy conservation. This report summarizes the presentations at the Automotive Fuel Economy Research and Analysis Program Contractors' Coordination Meeting. (Portions of this document are not fully legible)
