BE PREPARED : THE CURRENT SECURITY SITUATION DICTATES THAT MORE AIRPORTS OBTAIN MOBILE ATC TOWERS FOR BACK-UP PURPOSES
Air traffic control (ATC) towers play a key role in airport operations. With their prominent height and visibility, ATC towers are in a vulnerable position, particularly with the current heightened security environment. Mobile ATC towers can offer a quick and effective way of providing back-up or standby ATC capabilities. Traditionally used at small commercial airports and the military, these portable towers are trailer mounted and have flexible height capabilities.
