HONG KONG: PAYMENTS FOR PUBLIC TRANSPORT THROUGH MOBILE PHONES
What are the attributes of mobile ticketing which make it an attractive proposition to the Public Transport Operator and to the traveller? The presentation will consider the obvious business issues of implementation costs, revenue impact, and effects to the business model. In addition it will cover some less obvious issues such as inspection, enforcement, infrastructure considerations and ownership of data.
