GRAIN--ERRATIC TRADE HAMPERS PORT DEVELOPMENT

In the third of a series of articles analysing bulk trade development and the implications for terminals and cargo-handling techniques, Cargo Systems' research division examines the past development and future potential for seaborne trade in grain, concluding that investment in and utilization of new and improved handling systems and equipment will prove increasingly necessary if grain ports and terminals are to provide the faster handling rates which will be required in the future.
