EXPERIENCES AND FUTURE TRENDS IN ELECTRONIC CONTROL SYSTEMS FOR MARINE BOILERS
General considerations for a marine boiler control system are reviewed. Automatic combustion control in general, and for fuel oil and natural gas-burning-boiler in particular, is dealt with. Feed water control and steam temperature control are considered, as well as burner control including automatic re-start of the boiler. Boiler plant simulation is described, and a note on future trends in marine boiler control is included. Order from: NSFI as No. 14510.
