Selected viewpoints of the public sector, the business community, and the media regarding the implementation of TSM are highlighted. For the elected official it is noted that the major problem is one of communication. Measures adopted that will ultimately affect the freedom of citizens to come and go as they please require prior communication. Citizen involvement is one way of opening channels of communication and allowing for citizen input. With respect to the business community, it is noted that unless they are involved. TSM actions such as staggered work hours, and carpool programs will not be as successful as they could be with respect to the media, it is noted that relations could be improved by informing the press of the conferences, better timing of press conferences and more cooperation.
