TWO MODELS FOR ALLOCATING CAR PARKING SPACES

The problems of determining the allocation of car parking spaces to regular users is formulated for two cases: when the number of spaces is greater than the number of users; and vice versa. The objective is to minimise the distance walked by users as a result of parking their cars. An example has been solved for the more complicated case.(a) /TRRL/
