Previous papers have described overall presentations and detailed experiment results of the B.S.R.A. Methodical Series hull forms (references at end of paper). The present paper contains an overall analysis of the resistance and propulsion results obtained with models derived from the 0.65, 0.70, 0.75 and 0.80 block coefficient parent forms of the B.S.R.A. Methodical Series in which the extent of parallel middle body was systematically varied. Charts are presented from with corrections to the resistance coefficients, due to variations in parallel middle body, can be determined. These corrections apply strictly to the original series, but it is considered that they are a reasonable approximation for the Extended and Revised B.S.R.A. Methodical Series within the corresponding range of block coefficient. For the purposes of the present paper the propulsive coefficients are given in the form of cross curves.
