TEMPERATURE-CONTROLLED TRANSPORTATION--GROWING OLD SLOWLY

Rapid advances in monitoring and control equipment for thermal containers allied with steady progress on the manufacturing side have tended to overshadow some of the more fundamental questions on who should be supplying the temperature control equipment--the container owner, shipowner, or terminal. The article covers temperature control equipment, container designs, thermal insulation and monitoring and control equipment.
