NEW MET SYSTEM BASED ON ESSENTIAL TRAINING CONCEPT. IN: MARINE TECHNOLOGY IV
Within the field of Maritime Education and Training (MET), there is currently no standard system using ship handling simulation. The authors developed and propose a new MET system based on essential training concepts composed of the elemental method of ship handling technique and systematic reconfiguration of it as a systematic training system. The proposed training and assessment methods are described through discussion of the ship handling technique and results of simulation experiments.
