PROPERTIES OF SULFOALUMINATE CEMENTS

The paper describes test results of cements based on sulfoaluminate clinker. Industrial clinkers, containing mineral phases C3A2.CaSO4, C2S, CA or C12A7, C4AF and CaSO4 can be used to obtain different cements such as fast-setting, self-stressing, oil-well, coloured cements as well as cements hardening at low temperature, etc. All of these cements have high resistance to attack by magnesium solution and sea water.
