MICROPROCESSOR CONTROL OF ROAD TOLL SYSTEM
The successful operation of a road toll system requires that vehicles wishing to use it can pass through relatively freely, and that there is a foolproof method of assessing and collecting the correct revenues. Previous solutions to this problem have used hardware logic. This article describes a software approach based on microprocessor firmware.
