POLYURETHENE-INTEGRAL EXPANDED FOAM MATERIAL. A CONTRIBUTION TOWARDS THE RAISING OF SAFETY LEVELS IN AND ON MOTOR VEHICLES

POLYURETHAN-INTEGRALSCHAUMSTOFF, EIN BEITRAG ZUR ERHOEHUNG DER SICHERHEIT IM UND AN KRAFTFAHRZEUG

Polyurethene-integral expanded foam materials are excellently suited for use in mass production in the field of automobile construction due to the optimal combination of properties obtainable and the simple, economical technique employed. The many different qualities open up a market which has not been acknowledged until now. The car of the future must have higher levels of inner and outer safety and greater protection against minor damage. All collision prone zones will have to be gradually designed to resist impact. Polyurethene-integral expanded foam material can meet the requirements governing this type of shock absorption element, thereby contributing greatly to measures for raising levels of road traffic safety.
