EVALUATION OF THE TWO YEARS OF THE INTER-LABORATORY ASPHALT PROGRAM IN BRAZIL

The opening of the markets, the globalization process, and the customer and public agency demand for quality being experienced in Brazil makes it inevitable that companies that conduct technological controls need to implant a certified, warranted quality control system. Established in 1994, the Technical Commission for Laboratory Trials in Civil Construction (CTLE-01) has been promoting and coordinating several inter-laboratory programs since 1995, relative to the following products: asphalt, cement, hardened concrete, concrete blocks, soils, aggregates, industrial mortar, steel, welded steel screens, ceramic and ceramic blocks. This paper presents an evaluation of two years of the inter-laboratory asphalt program conducted under coordination of LENC and CEFET-SP.
