INCREASING VELOCITIES IN MAIN AND TRANSITION CURVES

For velocities to be increased in main and transition curves during constructional charges, one solution applies major admissible values of "comfort" criteria, such as unbalanced lateral acceleration and lifting speed. Formulas are given for determining possible increases of velocity of up to 20 km.p.h. as depending on the radius and initial superelevation.
