APPLICATION OF GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTEM (GPS) TO TRAVEL TIME AND DELAY MEASUREMENTS - 2000 PHASE
This report updates the 1998 research that collected delay and travel time data, using a global positioning system, for roads in Delaware. In the 2000 research the global positioning system continued to operate beautifully. The report notes that the data collection for the year 2000 was successfully completed. Currently, data exists for the four years from 1997 - 2000. This will be valuable data for comparing travel time trends.
