C-CORE -- COLD OCEAN RESEARCH IN A SUITABLE SETTING
The study of the effects of sea ice and icebergs on operations and facilities, aspects of the cold ocean environment which are not yet sufficiently understood, and assessing and developing operational techniques employing such advanced systems as imaging radar are discussed with emphasis on offshore oil and gas research. The Ocean Engineering Information Center managed by the Center for Cold Ocean Resources Engineering -- C-CORE and its activities are evaluated.
