INTELLIGENT SPEED ADAPTATION : EUROPEAN EXPERIENCES USEFUL IN SOUTH AFRICA?
This paper discusses field trials in which intelligent speed adaptation (ISA) is being studied in Europe. The potential application of the findings from these trials towards improving traffic safety in South Africa is then discussed.
