PUBLIC PARTICIPATION IN PUBLIC DECISIONS: A RECONCEPTUALIZATION OF CITIZEN ADVISORY BOARDS IN LOCAL PUBLIC TRANSPORTATION SERVICE DELIVERY
This paper outlines the issues related to the original committee format, the process involved in developing these much-needed reforms, and the implications of the new committee structure. Although this committee has only recently been created, its impact on transportation service delivery could be substantial and has the potential to be a significant model of public participation in public decisions.
