WHAT IS SYSTEM ARCHITECTURE? : WHY IS IT IMPORTANT IN DEVELOPING ITS?

In this paper, the author examines the concept of system architecture. He defines what constitutes system architecture, when it is needed what issues it covers, and its associated benefits. He also describes the European ITS Framework Architecture which was produced by the EU's KAREN project.
