A PLANNING AND OPERATIONAL DECISION SUPPORT SYSTEM FOR WINTER STORM MAINTENANCE IN AN ITS ENVIRONMENT

This paper describes a winter storm management decision support system. Included are a model of the road maintenance problem and a search routine for finding improved static routes. A decision support system is shown to have a dynamic component which allows for changes in operations and the reporting of current conditions to the manager.
