RESEARCH ON THE MODEL OF SHARING AND PROVISION OF ROAD ADMINISTRATION INFORMATION
In addition to the conventional road management measures that deal with traffic demand, disasters from snow, freezing, typhoon and earthquake, and increasing the number of stocks to maintain and manage situations such as information disclosure, cost reduction, and diversification, the needs of users became a consideration for road management. Therefore, road management must be quicker, and provide detailed information. Based on these conditions, this paper introduces two examples from the studies of constructing an efficient sharing system for road management information, and a system of providing this information in various formats. Construction of this system has provided information regarding road management, weather, public transportation, and sightseeing through various communication tools, including telephone, fax, the internet, and portable terminals. This system supports users in driving safely, smoothly, and comfortably regardless of the amount of time they spend using it.
