A CHOICE MODEL FOR CAR TYPES TO CALCULATE THE EFFECTS OF FISCAL MEASURES TO REDUCE CO2 EMISSIONS: A 2-STAGE SP CHOICE EXPERIMENT
EEN AUTOTYPEKEUZE MODEL VOOR DE BEREKENING VAN CO2 REDUCTIE DOOR FISCALE MAATREGELEN: EEN 2-STAPS SP KEUZE-EXPERIMENT
This paper describes a method that can be used to calculate the effects of various fiscal measures, aimed at reducing the carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions of new cars in the Netherlands. The method is a 2-stage stated preference (SP) choice experiment, where respondents first have to indicate which characteristics of a new car they prefer. This information is used to construct an individualized SP choice experiment. (A) For the covering abstract of the conference see ITRD E206312.
