BIGGER & SMARTER : WITH A HOST OF NEW AND UPGRADED COCKPIT SYSTEMS, THE A380 WILL IMPRESS BY MORE THAN JUST ITS SIZE

The cockpit systems of the Airbus A380 feature advanced information display technology. Software-controlled avionics control landing gear, brakes, fuel and electrical systems and environmental control systems. The design of the cockpit is similar to that in previous Airbus aircraft, with the biggest changes in the main panel. Improved situational awareness is provided by interactive display, vertical flight profile and an environment surveillance system. All systems are extensively tested with the goal of avionics that provide great safety and reliability.
