PROGRESS REPORT ON THE TEST AND EVALUATION OF THREE ESCAPE SYSTEMS
The report describes operational trials of two shipboard escape systems: an inflatable abandonment slide and a davit-launched inflatable liferaft. The two systems were installed on Great Lakes ore carriers, the crews of which operated the equipment during simulated ship abandonment operations. Observations of a third system, originally intended, are not included. (Author)
