FREIGHT EFFICIENCY AND TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE
This paper describes how the Freight Efficiency and Technology Initiative (FETI) has been designed as a voluntary measure to reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in the freight sector. It encourages continuous efficiency improvements within the freight sector. The program represents a unique opportunity for companies to contribute to GHG reductions while saving money on fuel and other operating costs. The Government of Canada is counting on each mode of transportation to contribute to the program.
