CLEAN TRANSPORTATION SOLUTIONS
This conference presentation provides an overview of Western States Systems, Technology and Advanced Research for Transportation (WestStart), a virtual research and technology development organization and public-private partnership. The mission of WestStart to help create an advanced transportation technologies industry and markets that will create high-quality jobs, clean the air, and improve energy-efficiency. The focus of the article is on various research projects and efforts being conducted in the area of alternative fuel vehicles and transport systems in support of the U.S. National Park Service, as well as other regional transportation and air quality entities.
