EVALUATION METHOD FOR LOW TEMPERATURE ANTI-CRACKING PERFORMANCE OF ASPHALT MIXTURE
Evaluation methods of low temperature anti-cracking performance of asphalt mixture are not unified. So to find an evaluation method of anti-cracking performance of asphalt mixture as soon as possible is greatly important to reduce shrink cracking of asphalt pavement on the basis of analyzing and researching some evaluation methods from China and abroad. Through the analysis of tests and their results, this paper found that the compressive strain energy of asphalt mixture at low temperature can reflect the low temperature performance, and asphalt the creep test at low temperature, can show the performance of asphalt mixture at 0 c, 10% failure load. The compressive strain energy method can evaluate low temperature performance of asphalt mixture. The results indicate that the compressive strain energy method is simple and effecctive.
