BIG GAIN, LITTLE PAIN: COST SAVINGS THROUGH SUPPLY CHAIN AUTOMATION
This paper depicts a health care company's strategy to redesign their supply chain process. The reinvention of the logistics process involves defining work process requirements, mapping out process flows, combining functions or activities to achieve efficiencies and identifying a social structure. The macro process map for the scope of work to be redesigned is illustrated.
