A MORE GENERAL FORM OF THE GRAVITY MODEL
As part of an investigation into the economic and statistical foundations of the gravity model of trip distribution, the author developed a more general form of the gravity model which suggests that accessibility to trip opportunities is likely to affect trip rates as well as trip distribution patterns. This note outlines the model and its relationship to previously described models, which are shown to be special cases of the more general form.(a) /TRRL/
