APPAREILLAGES FERROVIAIRES MODERNES A ENTRAINEMENT PAR MOTEUR ELECTRIQUE ET PAR DISPOSITIF ELECTROMAGNETIQUE

A description of BMS electromagnetic contactors and a "single-leg" pantograph operated by an electric motor is given. These two devices were used for the first time on the Zurich Transport Department "Tram 2000", which is all-electric, without compressed air equipment.
