VIBRATING ROLLERS - DESIGN - USE

LES ROULEAUX VIBRANTS--CONCEPTION--UTILISATION

This article describes the discussion on vibrating rollers which took place between the manufacturers' representatives and the research workers from lpc. The topics examined were the design of rollers and their fields of use. The discussion dealt in particular with: small vibrating rollers, trailer-type vibrating rollers, (smooth rollers, sheepsfoot rollers, vibrating rammers) self propelled vibrating rollers (tandem rollers with one or two vibrating rollers), single-wheeled self-propelled rollers with a high mass ratio, single-wheeled self-propelled rollers with a low mass ratio, mixed vibrating/pneumatic rollers. /TRRL/
