SOME EXPERIMENTS ON CAVITATION INCEPTION WITH PROPELLERS IN THE NSMB-DEPRESSURIZED TOWING TANK
The effect of the number of free stream nuclei on marine propeller cavitation, type and extent, is investigated. It is found that an increase of free stream nuclei simulates cavitation inception and stabilizes the cavitation pattern. In this paper some preliminary results are presented.
