GAAS MMICS FOR AUTOMOTIVE RADAR APPLICATIONS
This paper describes the design, fabrication, and performance of a GaAs based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) chip set for a production oriented Automotive Cruise Control (ACC) radar system at 76GHz. The components of the radar system are described, including the oscillator, transmitter, and receiver. Simulation results indicate that applicability of GaAs MMICs in automotive radar.
