STUDY OF THE BEHAVIOUR OF A HIGH BEAM BY MEANS OF MAGNETO-ELASTIC SENSORS

ISSLEDOVANIE BALKI-STENKI S PRIMENENIEM MOGNITOUPRUGIKH DATCHIKOV

Results are presented of the study of the stresses in a high prestressed concrete beam in the contact zones with the supporting and anchoring devices. The aim of the study is to obtain a better knowledge of the influence of the relative stiffness of the loading device in relation to that of the model, with a view to improving the simulation laboratory study of real loading. The beam tested was instrumented with 300 strain gauges and 54 ferrite magneto-elastic sensors developed by the tsniisk, located in the contact zones and immersed in the concrete. Results show a great irregularity in stresses at the level of the supports and load application zones. A comparison with the result obtained with finite element calculation shows that the sensors give stress values with an average error of 10%. /TRRL/
