PAINT SYSTEMS FOR SAFETY

There are many working surfaces on drilling structures and support vessels which for safety reasons need non-skid coatings. The types of paints required for heliports, exposed walkways, warnings, direction signals, and markings are described. A very important and essential area where paint systems are needed is fire protection and the use of intumescent coatings is explained.
