SURVIVAL COURSES FOR CAPSULES

A description is given of a new rig survival course aimed at providing basic experience of the Whittaker survival capsule and associated subjects such as cold-weather survival and escape rafts. The training course is given once a week with a commander course every month. The functions of the Whittaker capsules are discussed.
