SACRAMENTO'S DUSTLESS WAREHOUSE
To facilitate the handling of grain and dry fertilizer, the Port of Sacramento has a new 69,000 square-foot warehouse served by eight conveyors. To control the clouds of dust generated in the new building and meet clean air standards, five Torit-Jet dust collectors (three different systems) were installed outdoors at strategic points along the conveyor housing. Ranging in air handling capacity from 9600 to 26000 cfm, they are self-cleaning continuous-duty tubehouses which can be on line around the clock.
