SUSPENSION PERFORMANCE TESTING
In the interests of road safety, it is logical to include in periodic roadworthiness tests an inspection of vehicle suspension performance. The results of tests with a prototype machine are presented and a specification is proposed for a valid suspension test. Although no account is taken of comfort, which can play a part in road safety, the results can be substantiated as being technically useful when considered as a factor in vehicle safety. /TRRL/
