LONG TERM MEASUREMENTS FOR FATIGUE LOADING OF PRESTRESSED CONCRETE BRIDGES
The experimental set-up and the results of long-term measurements on prestressed concrete bridges are presented. The measurement system records bridge data such as cross-section temperatures, concrete surface strains and changes of crack widths. Together with the results of an analytic calculation this data can be used to evaluate the bearing behaviour of cross-sections in the areas of the coupling joints under the combined loading of temperatures and dynamic traffic. For the covering abstract see ITRD E106406.
